Oh, these two. ♡ Our hearts were basically exploding the whole session. First of all, anyone willing to meet us in DC at sunrise wins. It was a chilly morning but they warmed it right up with their cozy snuggles, unabashed laughter, and killer dance moves.
Something we really love is how love expresses differently between every couple. Understanding what our couples find important in their lives and in their relationship is key in creating images that reflect them authentically. Photography is not a one pose fits all situation. After our many years photographing weddings, engagement sessions are such a fun way to play around with what feels right for each unique pair and session illustrated that perfectly!
Renée is a dancer and luckily found a partner that can keep up with her on the dance floor! We can't even wait to see their real moves on their wedding day surrounded by all of their favorite people! The photos of them dancing are some of our favorites. They are madly in love but also the BEST of friends, so making one another laugh is easy and the humor and lightness creates such a bond between them.
